99 Simple Unisex Tattoo Designs Utilizing Linework
Horizontal and Vertical Forearm Piece: A series of overlapping, black, horizontal, and vertical lines creates a simple but engaging piece on the wearer’s forearm in this piece. Thick, black lines run along the wearer’s shoulder muscles and lead to the wearer’s spine where a trio of overlapping diamond shapes run down the top half of the wearer’s back.
This tattoo, rendered in black ink, shows a cluster of roses depicted inside of a triangular vignette on the inside of the wearer’s right arm. What really makes this tattoo stand out is the artist’s intentional avoidance of the use of an outline. The observer’s focus is instead drawn to the images inside of the vignette and not the line framing them.
