Attacus atlas, the incredible butterfly that disguises itself as a Snake

The sole objective of these winged insects in their adult stage is to reproduce, leave the necessary eggs to guarantee a new generation and defend the larvae from their main predators, which are birds.
For this reason, this butterfly has evolved so that the ends of its wings resemble the heads of two snakes. The natural predators of birds are these reptiles in Malaysia. This is why it is also known as the snake butterfly.
