Wildlife Photographer Captures A Rare Yellow Penguin

This condition is extremely rare, but it has been reported even before and according to scientists, this condition is called leucism. Animals with this condition lose part of their pigmentation and as a result, they change in colour. Usually, colours range from white, pale or yellow and might even get patches on their body, hair, feathers or skin. The likelihood of leucism to occur is 1 in 20,000 to 146,000. So, this one in a colony of 120,000 fits this statistic.
