20 Enchanting Wire Sculptures Of Fairies, Created By Robin Wight

Tucked away near dense woods, British artist Robin Wight has turned a surplus of wire into something truly magical—delicate, captivating sculptures of fairies that seem as if they’ve stepped right out of a dream. Known for his incredible wirework under the name FantasyWire, Wight’s fairies enchant anyone who stumbles across them, whether they are perched on a tree branch or caught in a graceful mid-air pose.

What started as a creative solution to repurposing leftover wire has blossomed into a full-fledged artistic endeavor. Wight’s journey into wire sculpture began unexpectedly, inspired by the whimsical setting in which he lives. “I live in a place where fairies ought to exist, and it inspires me,” he shared on his website. Surrounded by the beauty and mystique of the woods, he found himself imagining these mythical creatures inhabiting the natural world around him. His first creation—a fairy made from discarded wire—felt like the perfect fit for his environment, and it sparked what would become a signature style.
