Bald Eagles Are Huge But Wait Till You See Their Nests

In addition to their size, bald eagle nests are also known for their location. They are typically built in tall trees or on cliffs, with a clear view of the surrounding area. This allows the eagles to spot potential food sources and protect their young from predators.

While the size of bald eagle nests may seem impressive, it is important to note that they are not built all at once. Eagles will add to their nests over time, using new materials each breeding season.

It is not uncommon for a nest to be used for several breeding seasons, and some nests have been known to be used for decades.
