This Strange Plant Has Flowers with Petals Shaped Like Hummingbirds

The green bird flower is commonly found in sand dunes and in mulga communities. This plant grows in hot climates in sandy, well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. Although native to Australia, they are grown in some parts of the US. Green Birdflower plants are found in the tropics of Southern California, Southern Florida, and Hawaii.
