Katy Perry Shares BTS Look at Her Naked Geometric Dress for Surprise Appearance at Vogue World: Paris: ‘I Modeled It’

Katy Perry wants you to “open your eyes” to see her strut!

On Sunday, June 23, after making a surprise runway appearance at Vogue World: Paris in France, the “Never Really Over” singer shared behind-the-scenes footage of her naked geometric dress at the Place Vendôme.

“I modeled it,” Perry, 39, said in her TikTok video, in which she still had on the archival Noir Kei Ninomiya dress with geometric shapes and tulle floral embellishments — while holding a glass of champagne backstage.

The mother of two soundtracked part of the TikTok video with a snippet from her upcoming single, “Woman’s World,” out July 11.

“She’s a mother / Open your eyes, just look around and you’ll discover / You know, it’s a woman’s world, and you're lucky to be living in it,” Perry sings on the track alongside footage of her getting ready for the runway.

“Woman’s World” will mark the first time Perry has released a single since 2021, when she released “Electric” and “When I’m Gone.”

At Vogue World: Paris, Perry completed her look with lace-up boots, slicked-back hair, rosy lipstick and matching eye shadow.

This year's event — which celebrated the intersection of fashion and sports and was hosted on a live stream by Cara Delevingne — took viewers through the decades starting with the 1920s. 

Each decade paid homage to a sport as well as a French designer or fashion house. Perry walked the cobblestone runway during the 1980s segment, a tribute to martial arts.
