With a fluffy white wool coat and a black furry face, there is no doubt as to why the award for the world’s cutest sheep breed should go to the Valais Blacknose. These sheep are found in Valais, Switzerland, which is a mountainous state. They have a very thick fluffy coat that allows them to survive harsh winters. Even though these animals originated in the 15th century, it was only in 1962 that they were recognized as a breed.
Their fluffy fur isn’t the only reason that they are special. These sheep are also well known for their friendliness and are sociable with humans when compared to other breeds. The main reason these sheep were originally raised was for their wool. But with time they became popular due to their good temperament and mysterious appearance.
