Here's some T trivia: Mr. T got his unique hairstyle after reading a copy of National Geographic. He noticed the hairstyle of the Mandinka warrior and decide to adopt the 'do to make a statement about his African origin. Around the time of his appearance on the TV show, The A Team, Mr. T's gold jewelry bling was worth around $300,000 - and took him about an hour to put on.
Mr. T got his big break in 1980, when he was spotted by Sylvester Stallone on the NBC TV show, America's Toughest Bouncer. He was soon cast in the iconic role of Clubber Lang in Rocky III.
