The 1984 movie, Purple Rain, made Prince a force to be reckoned with. Plus, what an amazing motorcycle Prince had in the film. For the movie, three different motorcycles were used. Prince rode a highly stylized 1981 Hondamatic CB400A automatic - while stunt riders rode 2 manual CB400s that were made to look like Prince's bike.

Crazy to believe, when the movie concept was first brought to Warner Bros., it was suggested that John Travolta should play the Prince role. Uggggh!
