Upon reaching Hardy Reef, photographer Mark Gray wasted no time in capturing the breathtaking beauty of the area. He embarked on multiple rounds of aerial photography at varying altitudes, carefully crafting both vertical and horizontal panoramas.
"This was my first experience shooting vertical panoramas from a helicopter," Mark shared. "As expected, the main challenge was avoiding the rotor blades appearing in the top of the frame. I had to lean out of the chopper quite a bit, but in the end, I successfully captured this unique shot of such an incredible part of Australia."
